My kids had their 2nd round of Mock Trial Competition tonight. The team I watched (we have two) was really good. It was honestly so close I have no idea if they won the round. The team they competed against was really solid.
Let's talk for a moment though about how cute they are in their little suits. These are middle schoolers, and never for a moment do they stop acting like middle schoolers, EXCEPT for Mock Trial. They all get dressed up in their "power suits" and dressy shoes and their whole demeanor changes. They become mini-adults and it's the cutest thing!!! Although, they aren't a big fan of being called cute.
We get our scores tomorrow morning and find out if we move on to the next round *fingers crossed*. I'm sooooooo nervous!
